Pronto is the CDU application for real-time social communication between members of the CDU community. The desktop version of Pronto can be accessed in your Canvas account, by using the button on the global navigation bar on the far left (scroll to the bottom). But the version for mobile devices is the version where the app excels. Pronto is like text/ Instagram, or Twitter- but all within the CDU community. Some Key Points about Pronto at CDU:

The main pronto group for all CDU students called "CDU Student life". Conversation there can range from the serious to the humorous and everywhere in between. It is a good place to take a quick break from studying.
Every CDU course you take will have its own Pronto group, It provides the option to communicate with your instructor and fellow students in a less formal atmosphere. Students have also used class-based Pronto groups to arrange study sessions or to clarify assignments.
The CDU Library group allows our Librarian, Stephanie Garrett to post tips for study, instructions for citations for term papers, and updates to the e-book library. You will definitely want to be a part of that group!
Start your own Pronto group to discuss a particular topic or an area of interest with other members of the CDU family who share the same interest. Contact Student Life Director Mary McKay, or Coordinator, Mary Kate Payne to get started. Some of our special interest groups: Pro life, current events, and Mariology.
Once you have downloaded the Pronto app, you may need to be added manually to the various groups. Contact your Student Life staff for assistance either in Canvas, Pronto direct contact, or at studentlife@cdu.edu.
